The Thin Skins &
Some Heavier Things
Help us welcome Radio Birds through Gainesville during their tour of the southeast’s best little venues. We’ve got The Thin Skins and Some Heavier Things joining them to show them some local flavor on stage. And did I mention the show is free? Because it’s totally free. So what do you have to lose? Nothing. That’s what.
Loosey’s loves live music! And we know you do, too. And we love American craft beer, good food, and hanging out with friends. Which is what Loosey’s is all about. Come on downtown!
Doors @ 8:00PM
And don’t forget to ‘like’ Loosey’s on Facebook to keep up with shows, specials, beer, and great food!
About Radio Birds
“That sound is simple: Plain-Old Rock and Roll Music with a distinctly hairy touch. Meaning, it is not clean, it is not easy, (or too difficult), and it is not The Next Logical Revival of a Previously Popular Genre From the Seventies. It is what you get when four guys all write music with the basic beliefs that it must be played live, and it must be played everywhere. Each of their songs is different from the others and is balanced by the web of harmonies that entangles the whole group. Everybody sings, and sometimes, you just can’t help but sing along.”

About Some Heavier Things
Geeze, guys, 1997 called and they want you to know the internet exists, and you should be on it. Seriously, Some Heavier Things is a newer project with faves like Jose Peruyero and Ryan Akridge, and they’re too busy making music and being local icons to have much of a web presence. So come on down and ‘like’ them in person.
