Music video:

BIO: Named the “Best Up-and-Coming Band” in 2015 by Hudson Valley Magazine, and nominated for “Best Rockabilly Female” at both the 2016 & 2017 Ameripolitan Music Awards, Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones are NY’s premier Rockabilly, Roots Rock n’ Roll, Rhythm & Blues outfit. With the release of their fully crowd-funded debut album, “Luck Maker”, a music video for their single “Whiskey Pick” (official selection of the Woodstock Film Festival, and in WDST’s top 100 songs) and a relentless performance and touring schedule, it has proven to be an exciting time for the Ark-Tones.

Born from a hybrid of Lara’s former Rockabilly band The Champtones, and upright bassist Matt’s international Psychobilly act The Arkhams, The Ark-Tones hit the ground running in 2012. This fun-loving bunch packs the dance floor with their own original musical offerings in the vintage style as well as re-workings of classics and standards. This “travelin’ band” is out there pleasing listeners of all ages and walks of life…wherever they roam.

We’re always happy to have both Rosewater and Company Man on stage here at Loosey’s. We like good music. They bring good music. It’s all good. Tonight’s wild card (no pun intended) is SIRSY, a great high-energy, traveling band from New York. There will be moving of the bodies, and possibly some woo-hoo-ing!

Come by a little early for dinner (Thursday is $5 AK Shrimp or Truffled Fries night) and a beer or two before the show. Plus you can help the bands with their gear and buy them pre-show drinks. Hey-a, it’s a party!

August 3, Loosey's, Live MusicWhen you come to Loosey’s, you expect a great selection of American craft beer. Done. You also expect a variety of local and national bands playing live shows. Good. We got that too. Sometimes you get rock ‘n’ roll, sometimes you get punk, and sometimes you get this… something between country and folky accoustic.

OMG … and we just confirmed The Treats (from St Augustine) and Julie Karr (from Richmond, VA via Gainesville, FL). So that’s FOUR for the cover price of THREE. Why? Because we love you!

There was a time you didn’t know good beer. Let’s hope you can look back on the time before you knew good music. We’re here to help. We’ve got the good beer, the good music, the good food, and of course, the great classic pub atmosphere to tie it all together. Come on down for the show!
